CME Group announced that it will expand its crypto offering on August 29, 2022 to add Bitcoin-Euro and Ethereum-Euro futures (subject to regulatory approval). The ETH-EUR contract size should be 50 ether per contract.

Euro-denominated cryptocurrencies are the second most traded fiat currencies after the U.S. dollar. The EMEA region has accounted for 28% of the total number of BTC and ETH futures contracts traded since the beginning of the year, up more than 5% from 2021.
